There is a one year Sprint Mobile Broadband contract, but we don't offer it.  The one year Sprint Mobile Broadband contract is $20 a month more ($79.99), which translates to $240 for the year.  It makes more sense to get the two year contract and cancel the service for $200 if you don't want it anymore.

There is an instant rebate of $150 off the retail price with a 2 yr agreement, and only $75 with a 1 year agreement.  For example: The retail price of  the Sierra Compass 597 is $249.99.  The discounted price with a 2 year agreement is $99.99 and with a one year agreement is $174.99.

There are no rebates with a one year contract.  Sprint has a $50 rebate and More Mobile Internet has a $50 rebate,  which means that the Sprint Mobile Broadband card would cost you $100 more.

The bottom line is that a one year Sprint Moblie Broadband contract would wind up costing you $415 more if you don't receive the $100 in rebates, and you pay an additional $240 for the service and you only receive a $75 instant rebate instead of $150 .

At this time, Sprint does not offer a month to month contract.
